Uriel Blackheart: The small Brownie walks across the lawn, His body stooping every now and then to pick up some bit here and there. The entirety of the inside of the House already haveing been cleaned, Polished and, Made handsome. His Glamour was dropped, He knew the Sidhe lord was in the grove and didn't bother to hide himself. He frowned stopping what he was doing to see if the man approached
Payge Indigo had found his way back up to Nikul's estate to find a bit of peace from the town below. Everyone seemed to test his nerves of late accept the one person he had despised, and that one creature was currently in his dead sleep hidden away from the days light. The Sidhe's brow was creased in worried contemplation, the deep green forest easing some of the tension. His tri-colored cobalt eyes brighten when he sensed the other fae near and he quickly looked up to meet the Brownie standing quite a bit of distance away. Secretly he had feared it would be someone else but he was relieved to see the little Sidhe sprite instead.
Uriel Blackheart watched the man as his eyes perked to Uri. He didn't know if the man had come to see his person or to threaten him some more but he figured either way This man's prescence worried him. He knew deep inside that their was good in all beings, But it was not the easiest to see. Uri gave a half smile as the man stopped and waved a hand, Now that he was fairly sure his person in the house wouldn't demand his leave he figured he could at least be civil,"Hail and well met, Lord" He said just loud enough for the man to hear him despite the distance.
Payge Indigo¡Egave a slight nod and set out to close the distance between them. He moved in liquid grace, ever step seemed casual yet precise as with all Sidhe his arrogant beauty proceeded all that defined him. " Hail little one. " Spoken as he came within a few feet and paused looking down at the smaller pale haired fae. " How goes your duties of late? " His words were like velvet and much softer then before, he seemed almost pleased to have such company this day and his mood faired well.
Uriel Blackheart quirked an eyebrow at what could have been kindness in the arrogant Nobles face, His smile broadened a bit, Hoping that this was a sign that perhaps every visit from this man wouldn't be more of a trifle,"They are well enough, I have just finished the inside and was about to collect my breakfast..."He paused for a moment not sure how the man would take it,"Would you like to break fast with me?" He swallowed almost nervously, Not wanting to upset the man already, Gran had told him that some sidhe would consider it an insult to breakfast with a lesser fae. He schuffled his feet.
Payge Indigo's eyes flicked down over the other male assessing him as he spoke then drew his eyes back up to those bright green eyes. " Breakfast you say.. Hmm." He seemed as if he considered the notion, his eyes drifting away to look through the thick folage of the trees and forest floor. " Well.. I'm not so much hungry.. So your breakfast I must decline but I would enjoy your company as you eat... " He gave a gentle smile, one that warmed his face and charmed the words spoken. Long had it been that Payge had found enough peace to be civil with his own kind, with anyone really. Today he felt like letting his worries drift away and settle into some simple conversation.
Uriel Blackheart inclined his head to the side as if he were processing the idea, He nodded softly be fore extending a hand to the cushioned ground and the fire that had been cleaned before being relit,"If you do not mind the outide the fouyer is also good" He was not sure if Nobles ate on the ground, But he would give up the morning air to keep the man happy, he smiled softly turning to a tree behind him and walking over, Picking up a tall jar which held a wooden utensil in it and looking up he called in a strange buzzing voice that could remind the mind of nothing other than if a bee could speak,"Come out, Come out my little friends, May I have some honey please?" And with those strange words the bees flowed from their nest seeming to dance around him, Hundreds, as he reached up and began to scrape the honey from the enterior of the large nest.
Payge Indigo¡Ehad no problem relaxing amongst nature, it was the very Goddess of such things that blessed all the fae. He moved to take a seat against the plush pillows and settled down to watch the spectacle of the gathering honey. " An interesting tallent you have. Do all Brownies have that ability? " The question offered softly, barely heard amongst the buzzing of tiny wings.
Uriel Blackheart shook his head as he stole the last bit of the honey for himself, whipering softly,"Thank you my friends" e grinned at the bees and the circled him, a few landing to kiss his skin before returning to their nest, Uri turned tending the half jar of honey with a taste a small smile playing on his face as he swallowed,"No, it is just me....I can talk to things" he stooped to the groumd, Careful not to spill the sticky sweet honey anmd smiled taking another spoonful.
Payge Indigo nodded watching him before his gaze was stolen by the licking flames of the fire. He watched them as if they spread some secret for his ears alone and slowly he grew distant. " We can all talk to... things... little one.. Unless you have some knack for learning language.. "
Uriel Blackheart shook his head, Thinking it a strange thing to say, but it was harder to explain otherwise, and so far he was feeling at peace despite every warning from his child hood, to watch himself among the chosen,"I suppose i meant i can talk to all things" He gstared at the man, He was gorgeous, Like pictures of adonis, He wondered if all the Nobles were this beautiful and new he was right,"Trees, Birds, Grass.....All the animals...I can speak to them and them to me" He gave a soft smile to the man, noticeing how the firelight flickered off his skin making it seem like silver, like moonlight.
Payge Indigo¡Efelt the fires light reflecting in the deep blues of his eyes, his expression growing more melancholy as he attempted relaxation. " Then that is truly a gift... " He trailed off for a moment and took a deep breath of the sweet fresh air before his attention flicked back to the Brownie. " What is your name? I don't recognize you truly. " His head tilted to the side, spilling the long ebony locks from his shoulder to his back like a sheer veil. Payge's beauty had been one that even the Seelie had jealousy for. When the Goddess made him she made him well and kissed him with perfection, even as that blessing seemed a curse at times, his arrogance tarnished the surfaces splendor.
Uriel Blackheart shook his head, He gave a soft smile however,"I dobt you would, My gran named me...My mother never had a chance, It's Uriel....." He gave a softer smile at the mention of his Gran,"it pleases me that you praise my gift.." He let his eyes trail over Payge's features enjoying the view, He knew that it was considered rude to ignore someone that was intentionally being beautiful, But just as Payge might not have been doing it intentionally, So did Uri stare because he enjoyed the delicate bones and subtle senses of his skin. He let his Seelie green eyes pair up to the triple iris that were so very Sidhe and he gave a grin taing another bite of the Amber liquid.
Payge Indigo studied the green Sidhe eyes and nodded. " A pleasure then Uriel. " He offered another smile. " So tell me of your mother.. Why could she not name you.. " He was honestly curious and it was refreshing for him to listen to anothers tales rather then dealing with his own issues right now. Uriel was pleasant in conversation thus far and Payge welcomed him. " And I see Sidhe in your eyes.. You are part Sidhe?"
Uriel Blackheart swallowed softly, Letting the honey slide down his throat, It was a blend of the natural and the purple jelly that was saved for the queens, He spoke softly letting his eyes drop to the honey,"She was...put to death....Her and my father had an argument, and he is Sidhe yes" He let his vision cloud for a moment then it cleared as if he were banishing certain thoughts, His face broke into a soft smile,"But i don't know much about my Seelie side...Just that my father had a tryst with my mother and she was with child, so they married"
Payge Indigo¡Eraised a single brow. " Your mother was put to death over a simple argument?" His eyes narrowed then as he considered the reason for this and couldn't find one. " Who ordered such a thing? " Curiosity was suddenly exposed in his eyes as he considered Uriel's past.
Uriel Blackheart Knew that he shouldn't say. He took another bite of the honey contemplating how much he could reveal,"My father" He whispered softly, His eyes trailing to the fire, The gold flickering off his iris, Bringing out a supriseing blend of colors in his eyes, Not truly a triple iris, but a blending as it it could have been, Bright green, Like new growth, darker green, Like the skin of ripening fruit, and soft flecks of yellow like light shineing through a fern. He licked his lips which were sticky with the royal honey,"I was sent away when i was born and she wouldn't tell them where.. So my father had her put to death"
Payge Indigo¡Eturned more toward Uriel now and took his features in more carefully. " I see.." He noticed some reluctance in the other and knew there was much more to this then what was being told. " Then it seems you are lucky to be here.." He decided there would be time to find out more about his little fae yet forcing him to spill all of his woes was not Payge's intention. " And since you are here, are you doing right by Nikul?" He looked away then and back into the flames.
Uriel Blackheart nodded,"I think so, But he is hard to tell" He frowned as if the man confounded him, Which he did,"I was told not to show myself, That it wasn't proper for human's to see us...But he isn't human" He huffed and chuckled,"I can't even make him break fast...." He sighed taking another sip of his honey, He seemed like he had forgotten that Payge was Nobility, He seemed to forget very easily, but that was just his nature,"You sure you don't want any?" he said holding the spoon out filled with the sweet smelling amber liquid.
Payge Indigo didn't mind the informality that Uriel showed, he was used to mortals by now and by their standards Uriel had more etiquette then all of them combined. " He is still human.. Only touched by magic. " His eyes didn't leave the flame now seeming set on watching them lick and dance against the burning wood. " And no thank you. I'm fine.." He shook his head to the offered honey and sighed. " I asked that you show yourself because I didn't know what you were, all I knew is that you were hiding. There are to many things in this town to simple accept some hidden glamoured creature lurking about... Especially around Nikul."
Uriel Blackheart smiled taking a slow swallow of the liquid, Then nodded his head,"You must care for him....I do not blame you for outing me, Just wish i knew how to act about him...I mean is it wrong to just keep Glamoured and let him go about his day...Should I find a new hearth to hold.." He sighed like he had too many questions on his mind to think about, He looked to Payge as if the Man might answer his questions then seemed to remember,"I appologise Sir..."
Payge Indigo shook his head again and pulling his dreaming eyes from the fire to glance back at Uriel. " Don't apologise.. It's fine... I would think you are just fine to remain here. Simply keep out of the way when needed and keep your glamour. There are others to come to Nikul's cottage to call and I wouldn't want you seen... I think you care for him well. " He tried to ignore the fact that he did care for Nikul, more deeply then he had ever intended and this was one of the worries that smoldered in the subconscious of his mind. " And if... You are ever asked to leave then take no offense. There are times when things must be discussed and I prefer no ears other then those I intend to hear them.."
Uriel Blackheart nods his head, He couldn't begrudge the man his request, Not when he had answered the very questions that plagued him,"I am grateful" He smiled, He hadn't said thank you as Many Sidhe considered that a grave insult. He himself despite his youth didn't like to be Thanked. He chuckled taking another bite of the Honey, and swallowing it. He made a sound of pleasure as the after taste stayed in his mouth,"Nothing sings to the senses, Like royal Jelly" He chuckled taking another bite before closeing the jam and leaning against the pillow, smiling like a satisfied cat.
Payge Indigo¡Egave a simple smile and chuckled softly watching the little fae. " Indeed.. I often miss the sweet flavor of the foods only found in our realm. It will be a while longer before I am able to return to the Sithen. For that day I cannot seem to wait." He layed back then and stared up into the canopy of leaves thoughtfully.
Uriel Blackheart smiled brightly,"You are to return to the courts? May i ask a question" The curiousity in his voice was obvious, He bit his lower lip and grinned, waiting to see if the man permitted him his question.
Payge Indigo¡Eblinked his eyes and flicked them over to Uriel." You may."
Uriel Blackheart chuckled,"What are the courts like...Are they...Are they beautiful?" He couldmn't help but ask, Even though he knew that it was a foolish question. He smiled despite himself, and hoped the Sidhe would bear him an answer. Uriel may have been a brownie, But he was truly interested in the side of him he knew least.
Payge Indigo¡Esmirked at the question and gave a soft laugh. " Yes.. They can be very beautiful just as the Lords and Ladies are alway stunning... " He mused a moment as a shimmering light played behind his eyes bringing the cobalt blue to drift with magic like the vast ocean swells. " They can also be very... frightening." His lips remained smiling. " The Queen doesn't always hold pleasant court affairs.. In fact rarely are they free of some sort of drama.. I have seen many things in my time as a Baron. The Queen is not kind or forgiving... " He wouldn't dare speak her name, the Queen of Air and Darkness was not one he wanted to have the attention of and any who whisper her name into existance was surely brought to her ears.
Uriel Blackheart¡Eswallowed but he couldn't help his interest, he nodded his head,"My Gran was a cook in the Seelie courts, One of many, But she always said that while the Seelie were golden, Their Gold was blood. She said that the Unseelie held blood far higher than gold, But they were..." He sighed not wanting to insult the man, But knowing that he would be dipleased if he didn't finish his sentance,"That the Sidhe were all blood in the end" He whispered the word bare enough that even the Man would have hard to hear. Uriel's smile softened to a closed off look of wonderment.
Payge Indigo¡Esat back up and lengthened his back stretching slowly. " The Unseelie and the Seelie are very different.. Yet we are all the same.. That was wise of your Gran. " He didn't hold anything against Uriel, had he been a Noble and speaking of such things there would have been words between them but this wasn't the case. " All just formalities." He sighed as he slowly stood once more and looked around them as if finding his barrings. " You company was pleasurable Uriel."
Uriel Blackheart¡Estood too, Hoping he hadn't offended the Noble, He actually had enjoyed the morning with him. He stood and bowed his head the slightest,"As was yours, It was fun" He chuckled softly and spoke once nore, saying the words he hadn't when last they met,"Safe paths m'lord, and may the Goddess smile on you" His skin seemed flushed with happiness and there was a feint golden tint to it, The fern on his chest seemed to flutter as if it were leaning to the light in a breeze,"I hope that you will join me again one of these days, I did enjoy sitting with you" He smiled.
Payge Indigo¡Egave a short nod of his head and smiles. " And may the Goddess bless your day little one. I look forward to the next we meet. " He offered a friendly smile but didn't move in anyway to touch Uriel as was custom with most of their kin to do. He offered another bowing nod and started back into the forest heading back into Wood Bourne.
