Dawn Raynier smiles softly. She didn't need to touch him to know really. Dawn looks to Deo, "It's good to be careful Deo. That's right. Especially for girls."
Aidyn Van Dross laughed softly. "No no it's ok, I can understand with you...with the lions and tigers and bears, oh my...I can see why it would be necessary to stay safe."
Deoridhe flushes a little. "Anyway," she says, sounding a touch awkward, "you met a non-ordinary friend?"
Dawn Raynier looks over to Aidyn and smiles but she is curious. "Oh? a new friend eh?"
Aidyn Van Dross nods. "Yea he's new to town and his life style is a little odd. Oh by the way my name is Aidyn." He grinned a goofy smile and held out a hand for a shake.
Deoridhe takes the hand, carefully. "I'm Deoridhe," she says. "Most people call me Deo."
Dawn Raynier smiles as they are finally introduced to each other. "There, now we all know each other."
Deoridhe glances over, curiously at Dawn. "You knew him already?" she asks, sounding curious as she pulls her hand back and tucks it over her book.
Aidyn Van Dross chuckled as he took his hand back. "Yes I met her the other night as she was looking for a place to eat." He gave Dawn a playful wink and looked back at Deo. "Those are some nice wings you have there Deo."
Deoridhe squirms a little bit, embarressed. "Um, thanks..." She hugs her book to her chest. "Where did you end up eating?" she asks, trying to turn the attention elsewhere.
Dawn Raynier softly laughs as she looks between them. "Yes, it was a nice meeting. But of course, Deo always has some nice wings on."
Nathyn Soothsayer casually stepped over the stone fencing to stand on the bench by the back wall. He was pulling out his sketh pad when he blinked and squinted to strain and look through the shadows to the figured huddled about the fountain. He sighed softly and gave a mild look of disappointment.
Aidyn Van Dross tilted his head and grinned. "Well they make her look like a little Faerie. Don't they?"
Deoridhe babbles a little, "Did you go to the diner? Or the new steakhouse? The steakhouse has very good food, and the owner is very nice."
Dawn Raynier looks to Deo, "Remember. I came down and sat with you and Q at Rare." She smiles softly, "Yes, they do." Dawn gently pushed her sidhe red over over a shoulder causally.
Aidyn Van Dross looked at the water and smiled as his eyes sparkled with the distraction.
Nathyn muttered to himself as he slipped his sketch pad back into his bag. The pencil in his other hand he slipped to rest on his ear. All packed up he stepped up to his intended subject and pet the bark of the tree cooing at it and murmuring his apologies. Once he felt the tree had enough pardon he continued his path towards the opposite bench to climb ontop of. He had issues with using doors.
Deoridhe blushes. "Ooooooh, yeah. Sorry. I was a little, hrm.... distracted last night. There was a lot going on." Still was, she can't help but think, but no need to let anyone /else/ know about that. She catches movement out of the corner of her eye and blinks curiously at the shadow, but doesn't draw attention to it.
Adrik usually got his candy on tues days...but what was one day early? He had some time to kill with having the day off do to a long weekend holiday..and then a scent hit his nose. not like...a light wafting...but a smack in the face. Deo! Grinning he back tracked some, and headed over to join her and....her possy? "Hey there arketa kyria." He used that feline grace. The slow almost poetic like movements as he approached...and helped himself to Deo's lap. Rested his head right on her. "Making more friends I see." And then he was tilting his head up to offer the others a slow lopsided little grin, both charmming and boyishly cute. "Hello there.""
Dawn Raynier smiles gently, "It's all right Deo. No harm." She saw Deo looking around her and she glances over her shoulder to watch the person walking across to the other bench. Dawn shrugged as she turned away from him to look back to Deo.
Dawn Raynier looks over as another man walks up and literally lays on Deo. She smiles softly. "Hello."
Aidyn Van Dross looks down at the new comer like he was encroaching on his territory. For a split second only before he shook his head and let it go. "Hey, new guy."
Deoridhe blushes as Adrik settles onto her ....quite so easily. She's torn between moving the book and not. "That can't be comfortable," she murmurs softly, not sure what else to say, or do, or.... Her hands flutter a little, uncertainly, wrists clearly visible. "Um... Dawn, Aidyn, this is... um... Adrik." She colors and even deeper shade of crimson as she introduces him.
Nathyn slipped over the stone fencing and whistled to himself moving off to find a decent place to buy a suit.
Nathyn found said suit in its usual place, a closet in his office at the paper. He took his time changing into it, rubbing his hands over his body so the right curves accented the right places. As he left the office, he was stopped by his boss whom smiled and prattled on about some god awful human nonsense. He pat the man's shoulder and looked into his eyes so all he could see was the glow of his tri-irises. “Call them tomorrow. I am patient.” With that he waved and giggled and moved out of the news building and onto the streets of Wood Bourne again.

Lucy Lament she had found herself a suit and didn't kill anyone to get it surprisingly. She sighed and ran her hands down her knee high skirt as her heels clicked cooly upon the sidewalk into Old Towne. There was a business here she had to visit. When one visted a business, always dress prepared. she cleared her throat and practiced her smile. It was large and empty and looked like every other snooty news achor's smile one would see on TV. In her hand was a notepad and ball point pen, black ink. She stepp up towards Fang Bangers. eyeing the small crowd before it before walking up to the security man and smiling her best news anchor smile. "I am unarmed tonight."
"Mhmm... well I am sorry to hear bout your boyfriend.. or former boyfriend that is.. Trust me.. I am in good hands here.. In fact I am probally safer in THERE then I am out HERE.." Dodge was a little nervous about the lady now, could be bad for business if she stands outside the bar telling everyone who tries to come in that its not a safe place..
Dinah just looked after him, with a saddened expression. Her boyfriend had been well meaning, but he was still dead. She was discouraged and a little afraid to know that there was a vampire club right in the middle of this small town. She felt sorry for the guy. Maybe he had a shitty life that he was trying to change.
Dodge backed up till he bumped the lowest step of the entrance to the bar, almost tripping over backwards. Luckily Tao had been watching and half-caught him, not saying anything but smirking at him. " Thanks Tao.. and NO I havent been drinking yet.. Just got a little weirded out by that lady is all.. Excuse me Maam.." He said as he tried to squeeze past what appeared to be a female reporter.
Lucy Lament she held out her arms and let the security guard inspect her for any hidden weapons without complaint and as he OKed her in she bowed her head to him. "Thank you, Sir..." She cooed at him and entered the club. She squint, cupping her hand over her eyes to focus on the details of the building. Bloodied portraits on teh walls, red hued furniture and wall paper, a glowing red floor and wall. "....a master after my own Heart..." She whispered to herself. She grinned and fussied hrself to stand more poised and confidant and strut on her little high heels to the bar, to the man behind the counter and waited for his attention like a...good little patron...
When Alejandro turned to take her order she merely raised her notepad, " I'm on duty, but thank you. I'm Lucy Lament, News reporter for the Wood Bourne Weekly. I was doing a little review on preternatural hot spots for or Alternative Lifestyles section. Would it be alright if I walked around?"
Dodge patiently waited for his drink as he leaned back against the bar watching the people out on the dance floor.. He glanced again at the lady who had arrived at the same time as him.. She seemed harmless..unlike the lady he had encountered outside the bar. Once he got served his drink he quickly downed it then stepped out to the dance floor.
Lucy Lament received her OK and a flirty wink from the bartender. She laughed and casually asked hima few questions. How long he been working there, did he enjoy it, how 'hot' did the club get.. the usual review stuff. afterwards she meandered about the lower floor, watching the early evening patrons dance and the flashing lights amusedly. Finally she got to the stair case. She looked up tothe flashing lights of games. Neon... cursed Neon, she thought to herself as she squintwed. Faintly, she could make out the security camera above the sign. to that she smiled in true news anchor fashion, gave it a cutesy wave and blew it a kiss. Then.. she went up the staircase.
Aydryan Underwood came through the newly hung separating curtains between the Blue and Red rooms and looked about the slowly filling club. It always pleased him to see people come to his club. He spotted Dodge already dancing and Alejandro speaking to a rather prim looking lady. Aydryan stepped out onto the dancefloor. He would like to dance before he went to seek out Talion.
Lucy Lament pulled out a tag from her pocket, one with a big NEWS logo on the front. Her official new reporter tag, th one that got her into all the need to know events. She held it at the ready as she slowly walked the top floor and began checking doors. The one she was MOST interested in... had a key card. She hmmed and squatted down starng at it upon eye level. "What have we here..." she mused. Electronics were like a well trained hunting dog. Good and precise at the tasked they were trained to perform, but with the right amount of glamour and a steady hand, even a Fae's tricks could work on a machine. It wasn't free thinking, though, so she had to be careful. She slid her card over the key guard, whispering in an ancient tongue as the glamour upon her hand slipped over the card to conceal what it truly was. Her eyes flickered and for a moment she felt ill. Too much iron. blasted civilization and its iron, but the light went green and thedoor unlocked. SHe smiled and opened it, stepping in to blink at the guard looking rather confused himself to see a news reporter just stroll on in. "hum... this is new..."
Dodge chuckled a bit.. " Well thats good to hear.. When Audryan is doing well, we are all doing well." Dodge stepped just a bit closer to Aydryan his way of making it known that Aydryan had his attention and no one else on the floor. He could however see over Aydryans shoulder, Hikaru was at the edge of the floor observing now as well. Dodge held a hand up in what started as a friendly wave, then curled around into a 'come dance with us' motion.
"Can I help you?" The guard peered around the woman, not seeing any sign of one of the key card holders nearby. "I don't know you Ma'am." He rose up slowly, stepping away from the desk of computer screens and around his chair. "How did you get in here and what do you think you are doing."
Hikaru pushed though the curtain not far behind Ayd, stepping onto the dance floor as he wove between the few dancers toward Dodge and Aydryan. "How are you doing Dodge?" Asked even as he began to dance.
Aydryan smiled as Hikaru joined them, reaching out to them both to let his hand first down Hikaru's arm and then down Dodge's chest. The heat of Dodge's skin was like electricity to his fingertips. He always enjoyed it....enjoyed Dodge. <<It is too bad that Chris is not here as well, Ami."
Lucy Lament handed the guard that asked who she was her News Reporter ID tag. "Hello, Sir!" She said in her best professionally cheerful voice. "My name is Lucy Lament. I am a news Reporter for the Wood Bourne Weekly. My boss, Mr. Drew Lancaster booked an appointment for me to speak with the manager here tonight for a story. They had told me to come up and wait for him." she sighed and lowered her head as she shook it, " Did the phone messages get messed up again? If you like, I can call my boss right now and get you the necessary information, or I can wait inside if you prefer, or wait here for your boss. I'm very patient whn it comes to the insider's scoop."
Dodge grinned wide as Hikaru stepped close and joined them in dancing, A hand reached out to gently pat at Hikaru's shoulder in greeting.. " I am well Hikaru.. cursing this blasted heat, but well none the less." He would feel a small shudder as usual when Aydryan's hand brushed down his sweat soaked chest.." I am lucky this evening.. I get to dance with you both for a change.. how rare indeed!
The guard narrowed his eyes at her for a second before holding up his hand. "I'm going to check with the Boss first." he turned partially away from her to pick up the phone, pressing the number for the Red room bar.
Talion Magic came back into town and parked his bike out front of Sanctuary. He pulled his helmet off and shook out his hair around his shoulders and walked up into the bar and sighed. He still had a lot to do in here before it could open. He noticed Lanier at the bar and greeted her verbally on his way in and set his hand on one of the chairs to try to remember what it was he needed to finish doing to get the bar ready to open.
Lucy Lament bowed her head as he called, "That's fine, Sir. I'll go stand there in the corner and be out of your way while you call." She giggled and turned, making a business skirt swish a bit. She seemed the type to put the flair into the rigid life of professional attire.
Lanier Cerise looked over her shoulder Talion's voice called out. "Hey Talion." She turned as she put her back to the bar and leaned against it. "Needing any help around here yet?"
Hikaru caught Alejandro waving him over and sighed, giving Dodge an apologetic look before stopping and weaving through the crowd toward the bar to take the phone from Al. He listened for a moment, frowning <<Beloved? Did we have an appointment for the newspaper about the club? A reporter just walked inside the security room.>>
Aydryan silently reacted to the small shudder that Dodge gave, instantly wanting to rub his tongue over the man's chest, his throat. But..he controlled himself and allowed himself to just move closer to feel the waves of heat coming from Dodge. A delicious tease. Then he watched Hikaru step away to the bar to take a call. Some of his good feeling deflated at the mental words, <<No, Ami...I do not remember an appointment. *mental sigh* The evening has truly begun, yes? We shall go upstairs.>> Then he lifted a hand, extending it to coil around Dodge's neck and pull him close, whisering against his ear as their movement slowed to sways, "We must go upstairs Novio and deal with a reporter. You may remain here if you wish...or come with me."
Dodge returned Hikaru's look with a frown of his own. Then sure enough Aydryan confirmed it.. Business was rearing its ugly head yet again. Dodge stopped dancing, pulling away from Aydryans hold, and was bout to head back to the bar but paused and turned.. " You know what.. No, I think I will join you.." If for no other reason then to be in the same room as them for more then 10 minutes for a change. Besides Dodge would get to see how the masters dealt with the media. " This should be interesting" he mumbled to himself.
Hikaru closed his eyes for a moment before speaking into the phone, letting the guard know that they would be right up. <<It never seems to fail. >> he hung up the phone and turned back, waiting on the others to join before moving up the stairs.
Lucy Lament was getting up on tip toe to 'eye' over the Security Guards shoulder and then jot down notes into her notepad. The Press could wait... but no one ever said they'd stop getting scoops.AS tehGuards head moved to look at her more she lowerd herself to stand on the full of her heeled foot and smiled coyly at him, giving the man a cutesy wave with her ball point pen. "I'm still here, Sir.. staying well out of trouble's way. I assure you. No harm tonight, Sir!" She giggled, to the man and went back to her jotting.
Aydryan followed both Dodge and Hikaru upstairs and finally into the security room. He came to a stop standing behind Dodge, but it seemed his Pomme was twitchy and moved away. Chuckling softly, he turned his attention to Eddie the security guard who pointed to the blonde standing in the corner. "Well, Miss....Neither of us recall an appointment with the press and I would like to know how you passed this first door." He would be pleasant for now. Lifting his hand, the long black nailed fingers gestured for Dodge to come back near him as he shifted as well to stand on Hikaru's other side.
Dodge pulled his shirt back on, mostly. an attempt at looking somewhat decent. Didnt need any reporter getting the wrong idea. AS they went through the doors and paused where the lady waited. Dodge recieved Aydryan's motion and quiestly baced up to stay out of the way..
Dinah Tourzo walked up to the bouncer, handing him her ID card and firming her resolve to get this ordeal over with. "That guy you just let in has a serious disease. I know it doesn't matter to dead people, but you better make sure he doesn't bite anyone else."
Dinah Tourzo walked to the interior of the club and was immediately shocked by the imagery on the walls. She tried to keep herself calm. None of that mattered, she tried to tell herself. The vampires would be completely uninterested in her, she was sure.
Lucy Lament pouted in a girlish manner, her lips puckering as Aydryan spoke. "A man whom gets right to the point. You must be in charge. I like that." He raised her news Reporters card so they could see it clearly as a card. "I am a pony of many tricks, Sir.." The glow from her eyes also raised about her hand, The Card itself... looked like a ID tag one moment, the next blink of an eye was a Key Card. It remained at such long enough for the naked eye to recognize its change then it was a news Reporter's ID card. "Mr. Lancaster will be calling tomorrow for the appointment he forgot about.... silly man..." She shrugged. "I jsut wanted to know If I could make it into your office without human aide." She leaned in, her words soft and mocking of a certain 70's TV show, "and I would have goten away with it if it wasn't for all thise blasted human technology. You're one of the first inhumans around that is coming to grips with the 21st century. I am impressed." She lowered her hand, her card resting between her index and middle finger. Extending that hand to the door, she gave a bow to them. "Shall we? I can imagine your schedule is as full as mine. I'd like to make this brief and to the point.""
Hikaru 's head shifted, tilting slightly as he watched the card change. The guard gasped then looked to the Masters "Boss... I think I need a break. Staring at these screens too long has me seeing shit." Though Hikaru wanted to turn his head to glance at Ayd, he didn't, but he did in his mind's eye. <<Either a good illusionist... or... >> he really didn't need to finish that thought however, he did nod to the guard to take a break, who quickly stood and left the room, mumbling something about needing a stiff drink.
Arion Had his own space on the dance floor. He actually wasnt half bad, his voice was even better as he sang along....and then she came in...and he had to pause to stare at her..hard..."
Deoridhe bounces into the club, Dawn in tow, handing her necklace off to Tao and impulsively giving him a kiss on the cheek. She giggles at the look he gives her, beams at Dawn, and strides inside. There is a pause - and a fearful look around - once she gets inside, but she covers it quickly with a smile.
Dawn Raynier follows along behind Deo towards the club. As they headed up to the doors, she smiles to Tao. "Time to get checked again." She moved up to prove to Tao that she didn't carry any weapons or holy objects on her right after Deo. Then, Dawn followed Deo inside with a smile.
Aydryan stiffened and fell into that old silence as he watched the badge shift from one thing to another, feeling the tingle of magic along his skin. He was aware of Eddie leaving, but his attention was fully upon the woman. <<Fae....>> That one mental word was nearly spat. He turned away however, memory of the last meeting they had had with the Fae and wondered what the hell was wrong now. One hand curled into the sleeve of Dodge's arm as the other reached to open the door. When he finally spoke, his voice was surprisingly calm, perhaps almost frighteningly, "Please....come in and tell us how we can assist you." He moved over to the couch and sat with a very casual yet graceful flop, pulling Dodge down with him.
Aydryan wanted Hikaru near as well. Wnated the touch of them both, desperately.
Jehan tilted his head a bit and eyed her glass then looked up at her," hrm..some find they need such to add a bit to their courage. I never was big on alcohol but I enjoy the music at the least
Dodge had stood back quietly wathcing, which was VERY hard for Dodge to do. When the lady did some sort of hokus pokus with the card in her hand, an eyebrow would raise at the trick..... He watched the guard quickly leave then mumbled "What the hell we got here?? fricking Houdini in town now?" under his breath, but it wasnt directed to anyone, just a verbal observation as he followed Aydryan and Hikaru into the room, planting himself where directed.
Lucy Lament followed in with gracious poise. "As you were so kindly, direct, so shall I be. I am known among my Court as Banshee, of the Unseelie Court under Queen Andais." She curtsied from where she stood. "Both my Queen's and King taranis's Court have known of your.... how shall I put it. Pest problem. My Queen sent me here to ensure it would be rectified. Let me be the first to tell you that it is. They are being handled by their respective Courts." She shfited her weight and giggled, " I'm afraid thoug hi cannot tell you how exactly that is, jsut taht it is. From now on, all your Fae concerns come to me." She grinned, " Now.... about that silly little Treaty...."
Dinah Tourzo smoothed out her skirt, staring at the leopard print intently. "Courage for what?" she couldn't help but blurt.
Jehan lightly sucked at a tooth. Strange that never showed a fang. HE had practiced it too often . " Oh I don't know. The usualy things I suspect. Talking to strangers.. making a fool of yourself in public Talking to that cute person you have been stalking . Looking to start something or end it. So many things a person comes to a place like this for. How about you ," he sat up a little," Why are you seeking courage in a galss?
Dinah Tourzo didn't know what this guy was thinking, but she wanted to make her own reasons clear. "My boyfriend was killed by vampires a year ago. He was into bite parties." she answered flatly, raising her voice a little.
Hikaru sat to one side of Aydryan, barely a hairsbreadth separating them. Slowly his face lifted toward the woman as she spoke, his eyebrows lifting as well. This could not be good. The sudden stillness that lasted for perhaps a minute was the only real reaction that showed just how much he didn't like this. "Are you wanting to revoke the treaty we had with Mira or simply look it over?" His voice was careful, this was suddenly a touchy subject. "I have to admit... having two Fae announce that they are in charge in less than a week... It does not sound very... official." He wondered if the Fae were actually as structured as they had seemed to be before, or if something had happened and yet another shift in power structure had happened. One hand lowered from his knee to rest on Ayd's thigh lightly.
Jehan sat back again and laced fingers across his stomach," and so? So are you trying to follow him ..trying to seek revenge? Want me to try to point out someone for you ?" a brow arched and he offered her a faint smile but eyes watched her intently .
Talion Magic worked on the bar some and looked around with a satisfied smile before looking over at Lanier who had been working around the grill area. "Want to go for a drink at Fangbangers? Been a while since I've been there." He neglected to mention that he was expecting a document from Ayd tonight and figured he'd return the gesture Ayd afforded him by personally going over to the club.
Dinah lifted her gaze, but stared at a point somewhere behind his head. "No, I'm not that kind of person. He's gone and nothing will bring him back. I just want to get past my own fears over what happened." she said simply in answer.
Lanier Cerise looked over to Talion and smirked. "Sure, it's been a while since I've been there myself." She came back around the counter as she tugged a bit at her crop leather jacket out of habit.
Aydryan was growing further and further agitated by this entire situation. One hand shifted and found itself sinking into Dodge's spiky hair, while the other covered Hikaru's hand. "If Mira and her cohorts are gone, then there is no treaty since the damn thing was only agreed upon verbally." He was still speaking quietly, but the tone and clip of his words was clearly upset. "So...then....that being said and you stating that you are now in charge of the Fae in Wood Bourne, what sort of agreement or accord would 'you' like to discuss with us?" The muscle along his jaw flexed and released.
Talion Magic walked down the street rellishing the cool night air on his face and flowing through his hair as he walked, he almost turned off to the woods but knew he had things to do and continued on to FB. He walked up to the steps and high fived Tao, showing he had no weapons, having left his usual belt daggers at the shop and walked in holding the door for Lanier. It was his way to walk into danger first and then let the women enter, and not hold a door to shove a woman through first like a coward.
Dodge made himself comfortable, pulling his legs up onto the sofa as he leaned over gently against Aydryan, lending his warmth to him should he want it. He glanced over to watch the faces of both Hikaru, and Aydryan to see there reactions, if any, to this woman who had just announced herself as another of the Fae that seemed to be springing up around town. He tipped his head to the side as Aydryan's fingers tangled in his hair. Now he was watching the woman's face as Aydyrans aggitated voice began to ask her questions. Of course didnt know what the fuss was all about, the only Fae he had dealt with was Deo, the cute lil thing with wings, and she seemed perfectly harmless.
Lanier Cerise followed easily behind Talion as they headed towards Fang Bangers. When she arrived, she smirked to Tao. She stood there as he gave her the once over. "Yeah yeah. I cary weapons one time." She rolls her eyes. Lanier quirked a brow at Talion as he held the door for her. She let it go for now. She may be a woman but so was sooo not a girly girl. Lanier moved up into the bar just hoping her long hair didn't get caught on something as it waved lightly on the breeze behind her.
Lucy Lament sighed sadly, " No... it was not ver official on the first Fae's part." He raised his chin, " A brief lesson in Fae politics, if you will. There are only...two Courts. The Court of Taranis and the Court of Andais. One Seelie and One Unseelie Court. Any other grouping of Fae you have are most likely Unseelie groupings under the control of QUeen Andais.... or a collection of exiles from teh Courts, trying to live without being noticed by either Court. To be noticed means Death. Now you're would be problem thought to make their own Court and go under my Queen and King Taranis's eyes." He grinned darkly and gestured his hands outward to express the world about them. "Thus you have me before you now." He chuckled to the first spoken man and bowed, " I do... so like a man that gets down to his points." He stood back up and continued. "As a representative of Queen Andais, her words are my words. Her laws are mine. All those that claim Unseelie fall under my jurisdiction and eye as I an the eyes and ears for my Queen. As such Her rule extends here. There will be no show of Fae powers witin the public eye of humanity, and there will not be an Elfstruck within the city as is her Decree. In the forests, our way goes. and any who stumble to our domain do so of their own misfortune. Now.. I cannot speak for the exiles, but if one does act up to be to... loud and seen or If one of my Unseelie overstep their bounds..." She reached into her shirt and pulled out a business card, extending it to them. "My card. It has my business phone to the office at the paper as well as my personal Cell on the back. You have an issue with the Fae. You call me, and I will clean the mess up for you. Agreed?""
Jehan snorted softly and shook his head," Way youa re walking I would think you were trying to follow the departed. You carry yourself like you are a ball of fear which will jsut raise a flag to anyone around that you are prey. No matter what they are. Even the human predators are just going to see you as easy pickings. I think you better learn to trust your own mosnters inside before you go looking for other monsters
"I'm not looking for anything like that, and I'm not looking to die. I just came here to get away from the rush of L.A," she snapped, looking him in the face. Apart from looking dead there wasn't anything special about him at all, she decided.
Hikaru reached out and took the card cautiously, still thinking about what she had said. "I know of the two courts. A few things must be defined however. What of the shifters in the area? or the others that want to simply enjoy the woods?" Like himself and the spot he so commonly went to practice at. "What do you consider /your/ domain? The entire woods, or simply the Sithen itself? Of course if one of our own.. acts up we would expect the same consideration from you." Violet eyes had not left the woman in front of them, even for an instant.
Aydryan remained silent this time as Hikaru asked the very questions that had risen in his own mind, or was it in both their minds? Sometimes that small line of division between them was incredibly blurred. His fingers tightened in Dodge's hair, slowly and subtly, as he turned his head enough to brush his chin and lips through the black spikes. That one eyed gaze never leaving Banshee. He too appreciated, whether he liked it or not, the forthrightness of the woman. If the domain she spoke of was not the entire wood and the shifters that found peace in the woods could continue to do so, then he felt that this was probably going to be the quickest done deal yet. Once Hikaru settled once more beside him, his hand moved to find physical contact again.
Jehan smiled then . a real smile and nodded to her," excelent. That is alot better. I think you are a little less likely to be prey if you keep that up. Well .. till you decide you want to try something. On your own . If you do.. this is probably safest place. I am sure there are those here that could point you towards someone interested .
Lucy Lament shrugged, " To put it plainly, if it feels of magic, then it is ours. Not all in that Forest is of magic. some smells of felines... and other spots well... Even the Fae now better than to tread near a lupanar." She lowered her hands to smooth her skirt, " So the Sithen and the area immediately around it.... until you reach the scent of shifter." He bowed then, " And of course. I personally have no care for your kind. Why would I want to bring them in to punish them on my soil... and dirty my weapons. Even my Queen would fidn that foolish. Yours are yours to deal with, and that too I will be sure to keep." She bowed her head, "I fear the previous ae didn't know what it was to be Fae. This New World is not our land or our home of birthright. We are here on rteaties with teh US Government. Therefore, we too are subject tothe laws of man outside our territories. We do not want attention drawn needless that could jeopardize that. We just want a home, as I am sure you and yours do. So... in simplest terms. "Don't tread on my lawn, and I'll not tread on yours."
"What are you talking about, trying something?" she asked him pointedly. She wondered why she should want to try anything. It was enough for her to just sit in here. She didn't safe, wouldn't feel safe. Not with her past.
Dodge just closed his eyes as he listened to the discussion of domain's and territories.. It was times like this Dodge was glad to be human.. He had no use for politics of any sort, and these politics were starting to sound like a pissing match that he wanted no part of.
Quyten Yalin sighs and glances over my closet not really finding anything that "jumps out" to wear. smirks at the breif flittering thought of going naked, but decides against it for properity-sake. He resigned to be Made-but-Unmade and slipped on a simple black tee, a designer shirt (tastefully untucked and mostly buttoned) with the purposely frayed "rumpled" jeans. Puts on his boots and decides against the Stingray and stepped outside. The thick warm summer air envelopes and caresses him as he makes his way to Fangbangers for a drink.
Jehan just relaxed there watching her a long moment then looked down at his hands and made a slight face at the paint on his nails ," I only said "if" some people try to follow others in varous ways. Maybe even jsut trying to see what their life was like . Not saying that you would. Just saying some do . but um..yeah.. this is nothing like LA . Now that place is a madhouse.
Hikaru nodded slowly, that seemed to be acceptable, though it did seem every Fae had some grudge or hatred toward vampires for some reason or another. "Very well, why don't you write up the treaty and then we will review it, and sign it upon approval." This time he felt they needed something more than a simple verbal agreement. Just in case another came in over this one. His hand turned over, lacing his fingers with Ayd's while he casually flipped the business card between his fingers.
Aydryan mirrored Hikaru's nod. He was also satisfied with what Banshee said. He wanted to be sure that the Shifters had their peace and were able to move freely about the woods. Long fingers laced with Hikaru's and the fingertips of his other hand traced the shell of Dodge's ear furthest from Aydryan. <<Ami....I sense Talion nearby...I have to speak with him as well. But...I agree with this discussion.>> "Yes, Banshee...we require it in writing."
Lucy Lament reached to his side and pulled out from the air, a sketch pad?! Odd these parlor tricks of his. "I hope you do not mind. Ibrought no legal paper." Ball point pen in hand he began to write upon the page, humming to herself as she did. Once done she slipped the pen behind her ear and reached up to place her index finger to her lips. She bit onto her finger, ripping the flesh and with the droplets of blood that formed onteh surface, wrote on the paper. She gave the whole of the pad to the MAster and stuck her finger into her mouth to suck on it. "I trust I'll get my sketch pad back after you review the contract?"
Dodge smiled even as his eyes remained closed. Aydryans touch was alawys so calm, peacefull. He listened as it sounded like this meeting was comming to an end and with no violence, how pleasant. He did scoff at the mention of somthing being 'down on paper' Yeah.. like people NEVER go back on somthing written on paper.. Oh well it wasnt his concearn anyways. And hopefully it wouldnt be.
Dinah hesitated, thinking about what this vampire had said. It almost seemed like he was attempting to convince her of something. Follow in her boyfriend's footsteps? She couldn't imagine that. He'd always encouraged her to participate and she never did. She was glad she hadn't. It might have saved her. "It's not my thing....no offense," she replied gently, rising from the couch to leave.
Jehan shrugged and streteched hiding a yawn with the back of his hand," It's not alot of people's thing. That is the thing about choices. Anyway...enjoy your drink and you visit. Sorry about the boyfriend.
Selia Atisso walks through the scary tunnel really fast, she doesn't like it being all dark and stone and creepy, she holds the courage candy tight in her hand and steps out into the starlight "phew" she thinks and looks across the street, it was the club her new friend said he spent time at, she'd been waiting at her spot on the hill and hadn't seen him in days, she was lonely and wanted to find him, maybe he was here, she would have to be brave to find him, her invisibility had gone away so she'd have to rely on the courage candy.. she walked up to the front door and the scary man who was always there
Selia moves into the club and dodges the people coming through the entrance, holding the courage candy tight in her hand to make sure she doesn't drop it she looks around trying to figure out where to go, the bar, he had told her about a special fruity drink, maybe she could have the special fruity drink too?
Hikaru leaned closer to Aydryan, halting his breathing as soon as her finger had touched her lips, somehow knowing exactly what she was going to do and sending the silent warning to his lover as well. Taking and reading over the paper, then he looked back up to her. "You have nothing in here that will keep a Fae from teasing or using their blood against us. Or anything regarding any relationships between the two." He was thinking of Bink and Jehan, even with a new treaty, even that had to be reworked out... carefully. "Preexisting relationships that neither party is taken advantage of should be allowed of course."
Aydryan didn't make it a habit to breathe normally, so was in no discomfort when blood was used. "As those things that Hikaru has mentioned and I believe that the contract is sound." He was becoming antsy, feeling the growing need to conduct and finish his own business, like a wolf pacing the length of caging bars, but that was only an analogy. He kept his fingers coiled with Hikaru's as he cuddled closer to Dodge's warmth, letting it seep into his cold skin. He was also thinking of Bink and Jehan. Their protection was uppermost in his mind.
Lucy Lament scoffed, "What care does the Queen have for relationships? We are an old race. What they wish to do in the bedroom is their own choice, as whom they do so with. Besides any fae worth their name knows our Blood -is- a Fae power, but if you would like the reassurance, I will add a 'including blood' after Fae Powers not being allowed. Now if a fae is foolish enough to tease one of yours and get caught by myself or either of you... then it is their own fault they will have to suffer the Queen's wrath, isn't it? My Queen will not pamper stupidity. Why should I?"
Dodge Heard mention of this contract and opened his eyes to watch it be passed to Hikaru. His reaction to what he read seemed to be one of dissapointment. Ha... allready trying to pull a fast one over on the masters. He smirked to himself as he slipped an arm behind Aydryan, nudging closer to share his warmth. His hand would reach out the other side and gently brush at Hikaru's shoulder. perhaps a comforting touch would put him at ease as they all dickered over this said deal.
Selia takes her fruity drink and goes over to a quiet corner to watch the crowd, there were so many people, how was she ever to find a friend like this, sipping the drink she curls her knees under her with her back to the wall, at least she was visible again, that had been less fun than one would think
Hikaru passed the pad of paper back while she added that in, in her own hand, then once it was offered again, he reread the paper and nodded, pulling a pen out and signing his name in kanji, then he slipped his thumb to his mouth and caught the pad with his fang before pressing his own bloody thump to the paper. He smiled to Dodge and his touch while he passed the pad over to Aydryan.
Jehan finally shook his head and stretched himself jsut out of the chair in one fluid movement . Lifting gaze to fix on the bar he smiled faintly and made to saunter his way over there . pausing here and there as he passed someone he had met to give a word or greeting before he went in search of a drink .
Aydryan was already aware of what the paper said via viewing through Hikaru's own eyes. How sweet the bond was sometimes. He lifted his free hand once the contract was settled on his lap, nicked his thumb and added his own bloody print to the signature that was already placed there. Then he lifted it and extended it out toward Banshee. Once it was taken he turned his head to whisper against the corner of Dodge's mouth, "I have to now meet with the Ulfric of the Wolves, Novio. Forgive me." His still petting fingers caressed the back of Dodge's neck as he began to rise from the couch. "Ami...I truly need to find Talion and finalize that contract as well." He bent forward and kissed Hikaru briefly. Then once more turned to face Banshee, "I appreciate how quickly this meeting occured as well as an agreement made." Oh he was at his diplomatic best tonight, "I hope you have a pleasant evening, unfortunately, I have further business to attend to, Hikaru can speak for me if there is anything further." He looked at Dodge, "Again...forgive me, Novio. The Ulfric will wish to have privacy." He ran his hands down the front of his shirt, nodded to them all and ghosted gracefully out of the room."
Dodge leaned to the side, away from Aydryan, allowing him to stand.. A joking pouty face was given but Dodge knew Aydryan had business to attend to. "Very well Aydryan.. was a pleasure as always, do try to enjoy the rest of the night."
Lucy Lament held the contract in her hands and bowed as the first vampire left. "We Fae are beings of our word. We mean what we say, our words are our contract." He extended teh written contract to Hikaru. "Shall you keep it for your own record to call upon when it shall be need?" She did eye the paper for names though... always the news reporter.
Hikaru took the paper back from her with a small smile as Aydryan left, his free hand extending toward Dodge. "I can make a copy of it and keep that if you would like. That way you can show it to the other Fae in the Sithen as well should like want to see it." He slowly rose from the couch and bowed halfway to her, his eyes remaining on her while he did so. "It was a pleasure doing business with you Banshee." He would normally have thanked her for coming, but thanking a Fae was considered.. rude.
Dodge wasnt sure if he was suppose to stand or not, he had no knowledge of all these 'official' meetings. He did see Hikarus had reach out though and stood as well, tipping his head towards the lady.. man?? whatever he or she was..
Lucy Lament shook his head, " It is not necessary. If the Fae do not believe the Word of Andais then it their own deaths. I could just as easily send them to the city should they wish to treat th matter like one." She chuckled and curtsied again. "I shall get out of your lovely hairs now. Both of yours." Her sketch pad went back into the nothingness at her side and she waved, " And yes, the review on the club will be wonderful. The city shall rave it. Good evening, both of you." She didn't wait for a reply. She just turned and walked for the door.
*
